Assemblyman Roy McDonald said, "Upstate NY seems to be paying a price through the court system." A price Assemblyman McDonald said is too high. The special masters appointed to the Campaign for Fiscal Equity case released their recommendations on funding for NYC schools, an average of $5.6 billion more a year over the next four years.
Executive Director Regina Eaton said, "We think that's kind of in line with the work we did with CFE, but it's more than the governor proposed. It's in the range, this seems perfectly reasonable."
